Couples seek therapy for many reasons, including:

I help couples gain a clearer understanding of the challenges bringing them to therapy, creating a space where both partners feel heard and supported. Conflict is a natural part of any relationship, and my goal is to help couples navigate disagreements in healthier, more constructive ways. Together, we explore underlying dynamics, identify patterns that may be causing distress, and develop tools for communication and connection. Through this collaborative process, we work toward their goals—whether it’s deepening their relationship, uncoupling, or rebuilding trust and connection.

I work with people in all types of relationships, including non-traditional structures such as ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and platonic partnerships.

How does couples therapy work?

First, I’ll meet with you together to hear about what your hopes are for treatment and what made you decide to pursue therapy at this time.

Next, I’ll meet with each partner individually to get a more in depth history and to speak with you about your experience in the relationship.

Then we will all continue to meet weekly. I will assess the dynamic and, as a group, we will identify your goals and working edge.
